ich bin momentan als Aupair in Irland und mein Gastvater meinte ich soll mir selbst einen Letter of Reference schreiben. Was haltet ihr von diesem? Ich würde gerne noch was zu meiner sprachlichen Fähigkeit bringen, weiß aber nicht so recht wie. Außerdem wäre das dann ja in ein paar Jahren veraltet, da mein Englisch ja noch besser werden kann. Was meint ihr?
Über Tipps und Anregungen bin ich sehr dankbar.

It is with pleasure that I write this letter of reference for Maria Hellwig who has worked and lived as an au-pair in my family for the past six months.
During her stay here she minded my six to twelve months old daughter for 40 hours a week. Additionally she helped with light household chores.
I got to know Maria as a highly responsible, helpful and honest person who showed a huge amount of empathy and committment in working with my child. She settled down very quickly and integrated herself perfectly into the family life. Maria was always in the position to work independently and often helped with additional chores without being asked.
I am sorry that Maria leaves us today in view of her approaching studies. I give her my highest recommendation, without reservation and will be pleased to answer any additional questions you may have.
